NA 145 Technology of Materials Standards Committee
The "Technology of Materials Standards Committee" within DIN is responsible for the standardization in the field of powder metallurgy, heat treatment technology and laser technology on the national (DIN), European (CEN) and international level (ISO). The scope for powder metallurgy includes the standardization of terms and definition, material characteristics, material treatment, material machining and the corresponding test methods needed for powder, sinter metals and hard metals. The scope of heat treatment technology includes the standardization of terms and definition, heat treatment methods, test methods and the requirements concerning heat treatment equipment and heat treatment means.
